RivalRep ("The App") is developed and operated by Mithul Kiruthik. This Privacy Policy explains how RivalRep collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our application.
By using RivalRep, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
To provide RivalRep's features and services, we collect the following information.
These uploads are used only to support RivalRep's duel and verification features.
RivalRep includes a public social feature called the Dare Feed, where users may choose to upload and share dare videos that are visible to other users within the app. Duel proof photos and videos are not displayed publicly and are only accessible to the participants involved in the duel and, where necessary, for verification purposes. Please upload only content that you are comfortable sharing publicly when submitting content to the Dare Feed.
RivalRep requests camera access so you can capture photos or videos as proof of completing duels and uploading dares. Camera access is only used when you choose to capture content.
RivalRep requests access to your photo library or storage so you can upload existing photos or videos as duel proof. Only the files you choose are uploaded.

Notifications are delivered using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
RivalRep does not request or collect precise GPS location data.
RivalRep infers your country (not precise location) from your device's time zone and locale settings, in order to place your profile on the Planet Rival globe visualization relative to other users. This is an approximate, randomized position — never your real GPS or address — and no location permission is requested.

Firebase Cloud Messaging is used solely to deliver Android push notifications. RivalRep does not use Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or Firebase Authentication.
RivalRep uses Google Play Billing to process in-app purchases, including coin packs. When you make a purchase, Google Play Billing handles your payment information directly; RivalRep does not receive or store your payment card details. We retain a purchase token and transaction record solely to verify and credit your purchase. For more information on how Google handles your payment data, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.
Your information is shared only when necessary:
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information. Data transmitted between your device and our services is encrypted using secure protocols.
No internet transmission or electronic storage method is 100% secure, but we strive to protect your information using industry-standard practices.
Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including infrastructure operated by our service providers (Supabase and Firebase Cloud Messaging). By using RivalRep, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in these locations, which may have data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy wherever it is processed.
We retain data only as long as necessary to provide RivalRep's services or comply with legal obligations.
If you delete your account, your personal data and associated content will generally be permanently deleted within 30 days. Certain information may be retained when required by law or for fraud prevention.
